Jalapeno Music Publishing is the sister company of Jalapeno Records.Formed in the late 90’s, Jalapeno is a label that has encompassed many genres with one proviso – it’s got to be funky.

In 2009 label boss and owner Trevor McNamee signed one of our most successful acts to date - Smoove & Turrell and started Jalapeno Music Publishing to run alongside the label to maximise opportunities and revenues for them as song writers.

Fast forward to 2020 and the 350 releases that Jalapeno Records have racked up 500 + counting the multiple sub-label imprints and partners – Illegal Beats / Floorplay / Lost Tribe / Boogie Angst and we now offer a streamlined service not just for writers releasing music on our labels, but also those writing for other artists and labels and those writing specifically for bespoke sync projects. Investment In publishing royalty software, 20 years of industry contacts and a strong sub publishing network – means we now offer our song writers even greater opportunities to generate income across the globe.

Our publishing catalogue comprises over 1,500 songs and encompasses soul, funk, jazz, blues, disco, electronica and house with the focus split between traditional song writing projects and producers making records for the dancefloor.
